The sculpture is handmade of approximately 1400 ft. of aluminum wire which includes 2 different guages of wire (approx. 400 individual strands each at approx. 42 inches). Once the tree/roots are formed and the foliage created, the tree sculpture is mounted on a rock which is secured to piece of Monkey Ear wood from Mexico. The tree and roots are glued and secured to the surface of the rock and the wooden base. Additional smaller rocks are added to creat a more realistic and interesting setting for the scuplture. The sculpture is approx. 24 inches tall, 14 inches wide and 13 inches deep and weighs aproximately 23 pounds.
